The quickest way to get from Corinth to Delphi ? Go down to the old harbour and get a boat across the bay ,70 kilometres to Itea .Then it ‘s about ten kilometres up to Delphi .

Oedipus’s feet weren’t good at the best of times seeing as his dad had him put out on the mountain with his feet tied together. So by the time he’d done the 70 or so kilometres from Delphi to where the SPHYNX hung out a little thought was all it needed to solve the riddle .
